is whole life was that of total renunciation and total detachment. Spiritual
glory is directly proportional and commensurate with degree of renunciation.
Total renunciation means total divine glory; total detachment means total
attachment with the Lord only.

| Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib says, “He who has renunciated Maya and all worldly attachments and is totally detached” says Nanak hear you, God dwells in His heart. |
I do not think such a life of exemplary and unique renunciation has ever been witnessed by the world before.
Even when insisted upon thrice by Baba Harnam Singh Ji Maharaj to ask for any boon; Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj had prayed for the boon of utter desirelessness. He was renunciator of renunciation itself. His unique life is in itself an awe-inspiring proof of crystal purity, of His total desirelessness and renunciation from His very childhood.
Impurity dare not touch Him. He once said
Ustat Guru Nanak Di Nindia Siraf Apni
All praise and glory to beloved Guru Nanak;
all
condemnation of self only.
Third person does not come in.
He never cursed or condemned anyone in His whole life. He never spoke or heard ill of anyone.
He was an Ocean of purity and by the power of His crystal, divine purity, all the sinning humanity, the place, the whole environment, the whole atmosphere became pure.
There was not the slightest trace of egoism or (haumain) in His whole life. He was born as an incarnation of Humility, Nimrata. His beloved Lord Sri Guru Nanak Sahib had blessed Babaji with both the rare ornaments of Sach Khand that is Nau Nidh Nam and Garibi in their all powerful lustre and glory from His very birth.
