Wood when burnt in fire, first
assumes the shape (roop) of fire and then turns into coal. Wood turned
coal, however, marks its distinguishable and separate identity from fire.
Its identity is more close to the wood but when the wood has really burnt
itself out in fire, nothing but a lump of ashes remains. It has lost its
separate identity into the Fire. It has totally merged in fire. As it
retains no more, any separate identity, it can be said to be totally consumed
by and merged in fire.
One who so enters the Holy
Sarnagti of the Satguru, so chooses the Lotus Feet of the Satguru, so
surrenders himself at His Feet, has actually been already accepted by
the Guru.
