|Gur Kee Murat Man Mein Dhian - II|
|from the chapter - Philosophy and Maryada|
Whoever has tasted the Nectar, of the Luminous Form of the Satguru, of the Holy Feet of the Lord, remains totally immersed in that Bliss. For him all the worldly tastes and likes disappear into insignificance. The beauty of the whole world becomes meaningless and trivial compared to the Divine Beauty of the Lord. Sri Guru Angad Sahib had tasted that Nectar of the Divine Beauty of the Glorious Form of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib, Sri Guru Amar Das Ji had drunk the same Nectar of the Lustrous Form of Sri Guru Angad Sahib and Sri Guru Ram Das Ji of Sri Guru Amar Das Ji and so on.
The Divine Beauty and Lustre of the Satguru had taken complete hold of the minds of devoted sikhs. Their eyes and mind saw Satguru’s Beloved Form alone to the exclusion of the whole world. Bhai Mati Das kept on beholding the same Divine Form of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib till his last breath. That was his last wish. Bhai Kanhayia saw the Beloved Form of Guru Gobind Singh Sahib everywhere and in everyone, friends and foes alike.
O, Seekers of Truth, I meditate on the same Divine Form and Beauty of Lord Guru Nanak and Worship His Lotus Feet.
The one who has so offered and surrendered his body, and mind to the Satguru remains immersed in Guru consciousness. With the mind engaged in meditation of the Satguru, with the tongue engaged in singing His Glories, with the ears engaged in hearing His Nectarine Name, with the eyes engaged beholding His Divine Form and with the body and hands engaged in His humble service, sense of ‘I’ ness and ‘My’ ness totally disappears, it melts away into ‘Thou’.
Vir Arjuna could behold the revealed Glory and Splendour of Lord Krishna, when granted the Divine Eye by Lord Krishna Himself. Bhai Kanhayia was blessed with unique Divine Sight and started beholding the Divine Satguru—His Lord Guru Gobind Singh in everyone and everywhere. He envisioned the Divine and nothing but the Divine at all times every where and in everyone when blessed with the Divine Sight.
Guru Gobind Singh Sahib revealed His true identity to Bhai Nand Lal Ji also.
Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj once narrated the following Holy incident:
With eyesight granted, Bhai Goinda fell flat at the Holy feet and then raising his head, he started drinking the rarest of the rare Nectar of the Holy Glimpse of the Satguru.
The Divine Guru had entered into his whole being. Guru’s vision and grace filled him to the brim and with merciful and gracious look, the Lord asks Bhai Goinda for any boon he desired.
Steeped in the ecstasy of the Supreme vision, to look at any one else meant dilution In the purity of the holy vision. All his love was exclusively meant for the Lord alone. And he begged the boon of total blindness again and again till it was reluctantly granted. Such Lovers possess eyes for the Divine Vision alone. A Holy Glimpse of the Beloved Satguru was the true fulfilment of his life’s mission.
