I

n respected father’s own words:

“It so chanced one day that after a continuous chase and hunting of dacoits, I returned home at Moga after a span of four days. I was feeling tired and hungry and asked for meals. Meals brought before me were not to my satisfaction. I got up without meals and set out towards the Thaath for Baba Ji’s darshans. As soon as I made obeisance in His physical Holy presence, the first thing He said was:

Roti Da Ki Hai, Jehi Mili Kha Layi Te Guru Nanak Da Shukrana Kita

And with such penetrating and deep compassion he looked at me that thereafter all attachment with high taste and preferences had totally vanished. Mahan Baba Ji then blessed me with Parshad from His own Holy Hands, a Parshad which quenches and satisfies all thirst and hunger, in perpetuity.”
